  1. I have a 1976 troy bilt Horse Its built like a tank and the thing pretty much drives itself. I normally just walk along side of it until the end of the pass. Not much for safety features but it hasn't ran away yet...
  2. Been out looking a few times this year with nothing to show. Until this morning when i dang near rolled my ankle on this guy, under all the snow. I was so excited I dug it out like a dog and yanked it from the frozen swamp like it was a buried treasure.Well I guess it was a buried treasure. It's not a fresh drop but it's a good start, and one of my better finds.
  3. The bench in my 2 man was a disappointment as well. I mounted mine towards the front, within an inch of the frame poles and buckets won't fit. You also can't flip the bench up while the house is collapsed. I just pulled the pins and took it out for now. I plan on making it shorter to fit inside the tub instead of on the rails. Then I'll be able to get stuff underneath it with out setting up first.
  4. Alright all you reflectix pros. I recently installed this in my wild 2 man on the ceiling and the rear, from just above the door all the way across to the sled. Right now I just have the back cut extra long and just kinda hangin there until i think of what to do with it. How did you guys fasten it at the bottom by the tub. Should I just pin it to the canvas, tuck it into the clips or what?
  5. Is there many deer around there ? Anybody bowhunting this area? I'm planning on hunting a chunk of private woods along the Embarress this year for the first time. Are you seeing any deer? wolves? What can i expect? Thanks, anything helps
  6. yeah my first two pics I posted were consecutive shots at almost 4 min in between them.
  7. It's a Wildgame Innov's IR4, under a hundred at GM but it drains the batts pretty quick
  8. Fish was 10 3/4` Tiny lake up north. Any body know of a stuffer known for good sunfish work?
  9. Couple of shots that got my blood pumpin This one was a nice surprise stored in the internal memory over flow of the cam Hopefully they stick around I wont hesitate on a shot at either of them
  10. I picked up a 8" 224 last week. This auger absolutely hates the ice. I updated from an older mag chipper. What a difference. Brand new its crazy fast. The only time i saw a nils in action it was barely in action laying on its side on the ice gettin' yanked on for 15 minitues. Its a blast to drill hole with this thing. First 20 holes I drilled I was laughing out loud how fast and easy it was. The next hundred or so I was still amazed. Should have got one sooner.
  11. Has anyone had a vex that would run on 19 deg. but not work on 9 deg setting or vice versa. I'm wondering if the problem is he whole ducer or maybe just the switch box.
  12. Jag, what kind of Lacrosse did you get? Rocky extreme stalker 800 g lights were the best boots i've ever found. got the on clearance probably 4 years ago, must have quit makin them. Can't find em anywhere now, if I could I might buy a couple pair. None of Rocky's new styles compare to them.
  13. not a recipe but i use mandevilles jerky seasoning and smoke it. it tastes just like the jerky you can buy by the pound at the butcher shop.
  14. Three years with the bow my accuracy has been perfect, one draw, one shot, one clean kill. 9 yards.
  15. I would say if you've seen a few smaller bucks no harm in taking one out. I have been bow hunting for 3 years, without harvesting a deer. Passing on spikes and forks. This year has been mostly buttons and fawns with a few does. I did see a 6 point at about 50 yds. Normally I wouldn't shoot a little buck before gun season. Sunday night 2 deer came crashing through right at my stand being chased by a 6 pointer. I stopped him with a grunt at 9 or 10 yards and stuck him. He went about 40 yards and it was over. It all happened within about 45 seconds if that, one of the most exciting things I've ever done it was awesome. Now if that same deer was wandering around at say 25 to 30 yards it would have got a free pass, not because of my shooting skills but i probably would have had enough time to talk myself out of taking a shot. Maybe I got excited with the first deer coming through but for me sometimes its all about how the opportunity arises. Absolutely no regrets on harvesting a small buck for my first ever bow kill. If you get another chance at them go with your first gut instinct.I think any deer taken with a bow is incredible anyway.
  16. I've never shot with a drop away rest yet but I was looking at a few. I read a lot of reviews and it seems like Vapor Trail limb driver is the way to go. Different string attachment than others but read a lot about people getting rid of all the other rests they own. Anybody use one ?
  17. Wondering if anyone has tried these yet. They seem pretty fool proof and inexpensive. I have a few arrows with ripped vanes and I thought I'd give them a try. Curious what everyone's opinions are of them.
  18. Single lever flush mount shifter won't move out of neutral. Throttle and shifter work fine at the motor. When i removed the piece that the control is mounted to I was able to get the lever to move by pushing in a ball bearing to release it. Anyone Familiar with this? I couldn't find a diagram. I'm wondering if Something is broken, worn out, or maybe just need to be adjusted. There were times before it quit working completely that it took a few tries to get it to shift. I have looked for hours for any thing similar on the web. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks
  19. 97 f 150 Taillights wont work, brake, blinkers and rev lights are fine. Bulbs are good as are fuses. Anyone had this happen or have any ideas tips to troubleshoot. Should i mess with it or bring it to the shop?
  20. Sounds good thanks for the help.
  21. It was a mail in Freebie I got when I recived a nice rod and reel as a gift but I think they are around 40-50 bucks for a new one.
