  1. sorry never posted my email. it is kparens@mmm.com. sorry for the hassle. i will try and get pictures up tonight as i am at work now.
  2. Any one ever think of using a tandem axle enclosed trailer with drop down insulated sleeves yet. i am looking for soemthing that can be taken off each night and not having to worry about axles or cranks.
  3. i seem to luike the old bunny boots. black ones till its 0 out then whip out the white ones if its colder. had mine for 8 years now and first started to show sisgns of cracking. they only 70 bucks for new ones
  4. right now i am havin kinda the same problem but with moisture. i have two 3 inch vents and wow at night it looks like a old steam engine coming out of them. heating with the sun flower on low is easy but got to get rid of the moisture with same heater. any ideas besides a vented heater
  5. i have had the one styro foam one that had the metal cage around which worked really good and held up a long time, until buddy put it close to the heater. then had the frabill one wasnt to bad. styrofoam broke and had just plastic pail. then went to good will and found old cooler with the lid that locks down. you know the ones that have the green or orange top to them and couldnt be happier.
  6. Been having troubles fine tuning my auger also. runs great and wide open wiht half choke. no choke it starts drilling the first 3-4 inches and then bogs down a lil. sucks when i drill about 20-30- holes in a spot when it bogs down under load. i have the jiffy stealth stx 3 hp. any ideas or what screw to adjust
  7. Have a aunt that works there and its true. Just that they so tiny u never see them. back to the crappie thing. if you are worried about it it is easy enough to cut them out of the fillet. hold up to a light source and you can see lil dark spots in the meat just cut around them and ur done no more worms.
  8. i have my doubts if they are suspended. always seem to be active just have to try different techniques. sometimes a dead stick with minnow. If they are there sometimes a= i try to push the bobber down about tweo inches and behold new trick learned they ended up taking it. and also there jigging with waxys and minnow head and sometime tails.if not in the deep of the basin try in 15 or 14 of water during the day. sometimes they are more active when shallow
  9. Seen alot of this in muddy bottom lakes. I have eaten them before just cook them really good and nevr notice them. heck a snickers bar on average hasd 12 insects in it.
  10. Just wish some ppl would do their own homework for once and find them therselves. I understand fully for ppl who have bigger familys and dont have all this time to find a spot, but maybe ask before putting the house down. i appreciate that better and get along with them better
  11. i have also heard this and then looked at enclosed trailers and they all have tubed frames. thankx for ur 2 cents also.

  13. Need some thoughts from everyone. i have a 7x12 trailer going to make into a drop down trailer. ? for you guys that built them before: is a thin wall square tubing good to use for walls and roof? Weigth wise i think it would be the same just alot stronger and longer lasting. spaced 2 ft apart for studs. next one aluminum siding or menards steel siding? Insulate the floor or not too. And then insulating with the foil faced foam insulation. Tell me your thoughts. i dont want carpet as i would rather put a truck lining on it and lay cheap carpets down when the floor was dry. and it will only have two fold bunks. thinking light weight here.
  14. I have the huge otter sled and have the triple sunflower heater. keeps you warm on them cold windy days. tried the single once when it was cold and holes froze over and everything. so i thought go big or go home. place ment wise two holes in between two fishermans feet and one in far corners of house. and then heater in middle. only thing i noticed with the cooker sun flower heater is it makes a pond inside in no time.
