LittleRanger
Am buying a 8x12 house and am putting 2 bunks inside. There has never been a heater installed in this house. Am thinking about a wall mount heater or maybe a floor model that might cook food also? Older sons want to go out with their friends and safety is a big concern. What would you recommend and why? How many BTU's? Nice insulated house, newer with pitched roof insulated attic. Thanks in advance

bwtrout
I would go with a vented propane stove and a battery carbon monoxide detector. You will want to make sure you have plenty of vents for fresh air (top and bottom) Ventless heaters in that small of a space for sleeping seems risky to me. Sunflower heaters should never be used in sleepers.
