For mice, I've seen the experts put out 1/4x4x6in plastic dish filled with very sticky substance. Once the mice step in it, they're stuck. Should be able to find some retail. I'd put a couple out and come back in a week and see what you have. Terro works very well...just takes a few days.

Did a little surfing and came up with this: 4c Bisquick 3 jumbo eggs 2 1/2c club soda 1/4c melted veg oil Sounds weird with the club soda, but worth a try.

I sure like the pancakes at Perkins, but have never been able to reproduce them at home. Anyone been able to duplicate their receipt? thanks

Go to the public library and see if they have back issues of Consumer Reports magazine. The Nov and Dec issues have good reviews of current offerings. It will be well worth your time. A lot of the time, cheaper brands get higher quality ratings.

Over the years, I've read a couple articles regarding bino light transmission...don't know if it was by the same author. But, it seems logical: The max opening of your eye is 5mm. And, to get the max light transmission in low light conditions, you want bino's that can do the same. Buy the brand with the fit/finish you like, but pick a power that is devisable by 5: 7x35, 8x40, 10x50, etc.

What time of year should I be getting it in the mail?

First time boat owner here, and I have a question about licenses. My license expires in '06. Will the State of MN send notice as they do with auto plates, or do I have to apply on my own. I live at the same address as when I purchased the boat. thanks

Two things: 1.) People buy boots wearing dress socks, and when they use the boots outdoors try to put on an extra pair of wool socks...and the result is loss of insulating air space between your foot and boot. Make sure your boots are large enough--with wool socks on--to have adequate air cirulation...room to wiggle your toes. 2.) An enormious amount of heat is lost keeping your brain warm. If your head is not covered, your brain will devert blood flow--this is what keeps your feet warm--from your limbs to preserve brain function. I've never used a slug gun before, but bought a rifled barrel for the wingmaster, and thought I'd try it. I went out to sight it in today. I shot five rounds, and I tell you what...my shoulder hurts right down to the bone! Unreal! So, I have a question: where would the recoil of a 12ga, 1oz, 1900fps slug(Winchester Partition Gold) fit into a scale of recoil for rifle calibers? Thanks, Rogue
