sounds like your transducer is either dirty or that there is something wrong with it if you have a buddy that has a vex switch trans with him and then see what happens

I use the 9 all the time but if I'm hole hopping I will switch to the 19 to see if there is anything that is close and then back to the 9. So my two cents go with the duel beam.

I will use 19 when I'm looking for fish (hole jumping) then when I see a few on the vex then I will send down my bait and then switch back to 9. It helps me find fish alot faster I think just my two cents.

I use a U pattern alot and sometimes a straight line and the other that I use is a circle. you just have to da a little exspirmenting. and if you have a camara send that down and take a look and what have made it's pretty cool. I also have a string of reel weeds on my camara cable. all in all great stuff worth the purchase.

I want to put a nother battery in my boat so if I'm running the depth finder and the radio it don't go dead my ? is there are two wires that feed the fuse box and then the two that goe to the motor can I just put the two heaver wires to one battery and the two smaller wires to the other. I hope that is clearer than mud thanks
