  1. Last year I was on a side road about 10 miles from Miltona and there was a guy selling home made deer stands (condo's) for about $150. Has anyone else run across this guy or know of anyone selling something like this?
  2. I purchased my new dive book and can not find the dive chart for the TDD 9. I purchased 7 of these babies and could use some help if some of you have been diving with them. I like to use 14lb fireline. Your help is greatly appreciated. Rocket
  3. I have a power drive with sonar, auto etc... I need to put a new housing on because the old one broke when the motor came down. I have the new part however, how do I get the old one off? Do I take the power head off the top and slide the housing up off the shaft or do I take the lower unit and prop drive off the bottom and slide it off that way? Any help would be most appreciated. 8. I have also purchased both the big and small heaters and love them. Side note...I used my buddy heater on my boat during opener last year on Winnie. Rain, wind and cold! Worked great at taking the edge off. Also, we found out that a stick of jerky or a hot dog can easily be grilled on the front grid rack!! Rocket
  9. What is the round ring for on the tip-up spool (underwater type). Do you just thread the line through the "o" or do you hook the line in it to pull out. My rig and weight with chub on the bottom pull line out because I am not able to tighten the tension on the spool any tighter. I have used the ring and the gap in it to hold the line it works but I am not certain it is correct. Rocket
  10. Thanks for the advise. I fish Whitefish alot and there a nice chubby redtail seems to always work best. So when you look down at what appears to be crappie minnows you have to wonder. Also, last year was our first year up there and we understand that the fishing conditions were not good at all. Any feedback on what is working this year and how good? Rocket
  11. Last year we fished LOW out of Borderview Lodge. The shiners we used (provided by the lodge) were about the size of crappie minnows. Is there any advantage to bringing your own bait with larger redtails or shiners or can you even do this on LOW? Rocket
  12. Black lights are a medium bandwidth of Ultraviolet light. The best light source for the longest glow is an ultraviolet source. Black lights, therefore, are a good and easy source for this. Rocket
  13. I have used one for 3 years. They work just fine.
  14. Where did you place yours in your flip over? Also, any chance of a photo to show slow people like me where you put them and how many?
  15. Whats new for portable Ice house lighting?
  16. Thanks guys, I live in the cities. Where is a good place to find a good used one?? Rocket
  17. I am looking to purchase an ATV to move around on the ice with and pull my clam lodge around. What is an ideal size to get? I don't want to over horsepower and I don't want a dog -- or am I over thinking the issue? Rocket
  18. This last weekend on Gull I was watching the eyes on the bottom with the AquaView and trying everything. I used a small frosty with small minnow, plain hook, shiners etc... and it was fun laying the shiner on the bottom. It would lay on its side and wiggle. The eyes would come in and watch about 3inches from the bait but not bite. Then every once in a while boom we would hit one. It was fun watching. Perch were trying to each minnows about as big as them. Rocket
  19. I used it this weekend on Gull and I was watching perch and walleye's on the bottom tracking my lure that was about 2 inches up. My 102 showed a yellow bottom and my lure was black to blue just bouncing on the bottom color even though I was not on the bottom. Curious if there is a way to adjust so that I could see the fish on the bottom from the lure and yellow bottom?
  20. Wow! Our prayers are with you and your family! Has anyone thought of setting up a little fund for the kids or family? If so, I would like to make a contribution. Rocket
