  1. Hmmm! come on fisherman and families of fisherman This boat is sitting in my driveway and has gotten little use, needs someone to adopt this rig as it seems a real bummer that someone is not getting the use out of it.
  2. I have a 23 pitch aluminum prop on a lund 17 fisherman and the wot is 5800 at about 45-46 m.p.h. in perfect conditions with me and a smaller guy in the boat with the boat dry as far as wells. I would say with the aluminum your hole shot lags but stills gets skiers up in a jiffy. strong motor!
  3. Well, I am back from vacation so if you are interested in this boat and motor combo, let me know and I also found out they are reintroducing the fisherman back for 2008, obviously the consumers have spoken!!
  4. Anyone interested in the boat I will not be available to send pics or talk sale from 7-27-07 to about 8-2-07. you can still send requests though!
  5. I hunted almost the entire gunflint trail area from roughly the brule river just north of gunflint lake. We went on the forest roads(approx. two years ago) and probably saw about 30 to 40 grouse in 5 days of hunting. We were based out of Hungry Jack Lodge area. I think the birds will be way up this year. Good hunting. Oh! I found there were a few nice trails going up the access road to brule lake if you drive over that far.
  6. thanks hemlock,I really do not want to sell, but my wife keeps saying to me,Why do we have that boat? You should sell and she is right as I cannot commit the time to the boat as I should. Maybe when the kids get older and I am not so into their activities then the timing will be right.
  7. *2006 1700 lund fisherman Black and silver with red striping. This boat has been used very little. Has 3 air-ride seats, vinyl floor, snap in carpet, swim ladder, sony cd deck with removable face, four flush mount ram rod holders, bimini type top never used and a travel cover. Also two livewells and center rod storage (6 rods)along with side storage also. Also attached is Lowrance x-125 on driver area and Lowrance x-51 on front. Also a ram mount for Lowrance hand held G.P.S..and a extra electric plug-in.Also has a two bank guest charger. Boat has a 65 lb. minnkota power drive unit. A galvanized yacht club swing tongue trailer round out the boat. Also a three batteries are new this early summer. The 2004 Johnson 140 4-stroke is a great engine and I believe has between 20 and thirty hours on the motor. The boat will top out at 46 m.p.h. in perfect conditions with a 23 pitch aluminum prop. The boat was always stored inside in the winter. Asking price is $23,500 with some other extras available and located in the Duluth area. Great boat for the family or just for fishing. Also photos are available. Selling boat because my sons are soo involved in sports and that has become my hobby!!
  8. Hey valv, Yeah this has been quite frustrating and a long process but I am looking to get it resolved this week. I would prefer Crystal Pierz to just replace the boat and trailer and re-rig my motor and other various equipment on my boat. The Investigator for the dealer gave me the impression that it was the dealers issue and the tech guy for the dealer really did not say much or refute anything. Of course he did try to claim that the area on the trailer that failed he thought that they did not assemble that part but then he said the change in trailer building may have began in late 2003 and of course I purchased the rig in june 18 of 2004. The insurance adjuster-investigator said he knew of a company that repairs boats and he said they do a great job out of the cities. I am going to call him on Monday and get the scoop as we met last Tuesday. I just hope the dealer will "take care of business" as this problem needs to be resolved as the cold weather gets closer and I am losing patience and not been able to wet a line much.
  9. I am still waiting on the outcome as my boat is laid up still. My insurance co. offered a amount that wiil not replace the boat and rigging. The insurance adjuster for Crystal Pierz came out with one of Crystal's Tech guys and looked at the photos of the accident and the actual boat with me. He did not quite say that it was the dealers fault but he stated to the tech guy that the locking nuts on the bolts through the spring apparatus either were not put on correctly or perhaps may have not been on at all. He is contacting a company down by the Twin cities to see if they can repair the bottom of the boat, he says they are really good. My insurance guy totaled the boat as Lund said they could not repair it. I will keep you all posted on the outcome as I know that the trailer was not put together the way it should have been.
