  1. Has anyone taken a look at the limits in the 2006 book, makes it read like you can keep 25 perch, which I questioned and got mixed results on the answer.
  2. thanks for the input guys, i've actually had problems with the motor, the carb gums up from one year to the next, any suggestions, I don't run rich gas, and should I be using 87 or 91 octane, does it make a differance?
  3. Alright guys, you've been more than helpfull so far, so where the best position to put the ball? near the tank or in the back close to the motor?
  4. My personal bests have been a 23 3/4 inch largemouth, released. And a 29 1/2 inch walleye, that one is on the wall, trolling at about midnight, orange spinner, I was 14.
  5. Does anyone know where a guy can find a long gas line so I can move my tank to the front of my boat????? any recomendations? thanks
  6. I have a 14ft lund fishing boat, and I have an 8hrs merc. that isn't enough to push it around well enough, i want to upgrade to a 15 or 20, whats the diff. between short shaft and long, and would one or the other work better for my boat?? thanks guys
  7. I agree, clear does have fantastic small mouth action. I have a cabin on clear and fish there as much as possible, but not to much in the winter, action can be very sporadic, there are alot of better lakes around the area for perch and some very nice northerns.
  8. My sis and I were fishing walleyes and she managed to hook and land a 34 inch carp, man that thing was heavy, any ideas on what the actuall weight may have been? I've never seen one that big before
  9. I recently bought a boat and I'm having probs. with the motor, I can get it started with ease but it bogs down if you try to go faster than a slow troll, it's a 83 8hrs merc. any suggestions? any place that I could get it worked on for relatively cheap close to monticello
  10. My personal fav. is weed points as the weeds are just starting to come up. Fished with a slipbobber and a leach, I've had alot of luck with that presentation on alot of lakes in a few diff. states.
  11. Anyone fishing in the Sisseton area? Clear Lake, or Roy, anywhere in that area?
