I am looking for some good inland fishing lakes that don't have the 25 h.p. restriction...anyone have any ideas. Also is there any good near shore fishing on the big lake this time of year..i run a 15 ft Starcraft and don't want to go to far out.

My favorite occured in Ashland,WI Had a couple of weekend warriors pull in ahead of me. They proceeded to get out of the boat and fall down drunk about every 10 ft. After pulling up behind them and trying my best to ignore them one of the fine fellows on the ground asked me if I could load their boat for them because they were to drunk to do it. Instead of wasting my time and maybe someone else's life I just let the authorities come remove the boat and the occupants.

Anybody have any fishing info on the grand marais area..I am either gonna fish lake superior or inland lakes with a motorized boat. Any good fishing near shore on lake superior this time of year?

Hi Steve!!! Ray from Ashland,WI here...I was wondering if you have any info on fishing the Grand Marais Area. I am heading up that way to do some fishing on aug 12th and 13th..also was wondering about parking my boat up there overnight...have to run 2 minneapolis first on aug 11th and don't want to pull it down there. Give me a holler if u have my cell number. I lost yours.
