I have a Kayak, a Perception Caster! Still new to Kayak Fishing but from the few times I got out last I love it! I am up for a Get toegther in the City when ever, as long as I know a few weeks in advance so I can build my schedule around it...

We should put toegther something toegther for Bass Opener on one of the "City" lakes... Get a bunch of folks toegther and hammer some Bass!!!

I got my Kayak last summer and love it! I bought a Perception 12.6 Caster and love it! I am looking at a BWCA trip in the future but for this year I am planning a trip down the Rum River, awesome smallmouth fishing I hear! As for kayak fishing its a bit hard to get use to but I think I am adjusting well, I stepped down from a 16' Alumacraft and haven't looked back! We need to get group toegther for a outing this Spring, what do you guys think? -

I have checked at Gander, I guess at this point I am looking at getting some of the extensions and a folding sea flag... Just stuff like that. I will have to hit up Joe's this spring, thanks for the tips guys! -
I have been looking around for a store in the Metro that realy gets into Kayak accesories , but haven't had much luck... Does anybody know of a store that sells Scotty products or any other kayak fishing stuff??? Thanks!

Just want to put this out there, as my car was broken into while out fishing, Talking with a few people in the area I have found that this is a pretty regular thing at the access there... They broke out both drivers side windows and took about everything valuble in my car including my GPS out of the glove box... Just saying check your car/truck before you hit the lake and put anything important in the trunk...

My Dad is flying out from Vegas and wants to get into some Pike, I am new to the Coon Rapids area so I haven't had a chance to really get out there and fish the area lakes... I am looking for some tips on which CR area lake would be best for him to tie into a few good pike? I fished Crooked Lake with not much luck and Did ok on Coon Lake... I want to drive no more than 20 min from the CR area as we are on a small time frame. Thanks!

I have fished Zumbra and Steiger for a few years now and have alway had great catches out of both lakes! My largest "Mid-west" bass came out of Steiger! But I agree with chief don't forget to hit up the other area lakes they are all great bass/pike producers!!!

I agree! Just keep it full with some seafoam and start it through out the summer months - then come ice you will have a running auger!
