New York Mills, Minn. – When Lund unveiled its first true “sport utility boat”, the 1875 Crossover XS, two years ago, fishing families caught sight of the new model at numerous boat shows across the country. The new model was extremely popular with consumers and led to the expansion of the 1775 Crossover XS last year, and for 2014 the new 1675 Crossover XS.
“Equal parts of family fun and serious fishing, the new 1675 Crossover XS embodies all that’s great about being on the water.” Lund Director of Marketing Jason Oakes said. “From wakeboard storage, to ski storage, to center rod storage, the 1675 Crossover XS is set up similar to its larger family members but just at a lower price. All the great features, but easier to fit in the garage.”
The 1675 Crossover XS is 16’ 10” in length, rated for up to 115 HP, and comes with a full windshield. There’s room for up to 6 passengers and comes standard with a 37” (18 gallon) livewell, Infinity stereo w/ Blue Tooth, integrated 3-step boarding ladder, top hider, center rod locker for five 7’rods, as well as a center combo ski/rod locker that can handle up to 8’ rods. There’s even an optional ski pylon to make the switch to water activities that much easier.
Lund Crossover 1675 XS Bow Storage
For the serious angler there’s a rear casting platform with two built in flip jump seats, a bow 12/24-volt power plug for a trolling motor, room for 3 batteries, abundant storage for gear, and an optimal mounting space for sonar/GPS units.
“My family’s favorite activity in the summer is time on the water, and in the digital age we live in, this time has never been as important as it is today. We want to make it as easy as possible for people to maximize their investment and take advantage of their family time as well,” said Oakes.
The new 1675 Crossover XS doesn’t force you to choose either fishing or family functionality, it combines the best of both and still delivers Lund’s durable, rugged, and proven reputation.
