Hello – Well it seems like Spring is finally upon us and the steelhead fishing has been heating up. While it will be a few weeks before I start running North Shore trips, the Brule River on Lake Superior’s South Shore has been fishing well.
We had some incredible brown trout action on opening day with one of the best numbers days I’ve ever had on the Brule.
I still have some dates available for anyone interested in booking a trip. After this recent warm spell we will finally be putting the snow shoes away as the travel conditions are really shaping up.
Remember fly fishing, float fishing or spin fishing are all viable options depending on what you prefer. I specialize in anglers new to this type of fishing and all equipment is provided.
I had the opportunity to take a couple guys into a remote section of river this past weekend through the deep snow and they filmed this video of their trip. Hope the Spring is treating you all well.
