Stick in Mud
I bought a new canoe and am trying to replace the knee pads, but there's a lot of knee pad still stuck to the canoe. I've sanded it down quite a bit, but it's my first kevlar canoe and I'm not sure how far I should go. Should I leave some of the rubber on the canoe and put the pads over it? Is there a chemical to take it off? Or should I keep sanding until it's all gone? Or something else? Help!
magicstix
I'd call the canoe company and see what they recommend. I think tape off or MMM general adhesive remover but I'd double check.

leech~~
I use Gumout once in a while for stuck on glue! Works great on a lot of things! I don't think it will eat the glass because it drys pretty fast.
