3rd grade jig tying

Recommended Posts

After my daughter read my post on making jigs she wanted to give it a try. We sat down at the bench and I showed her how to set up, attach the thread, and wrap the feathers. I gave her a couple bags of feathers and some painted jig heads and turned her loose. It will be fun reeling in the big one this summer on a jig that she tied herself!

Thats so cool that she took a interest into what dad is doing, and they turned out really nice for a first time. I wish some of mine would have looked that good the first time around.

I can't get my son to help me with anything, or take interest in anything that doesn't involve electricity or has blond hair (he's 17).
