ripstick
Have a little problem. I havea 98 17' pro angler lund. Well the transom wood inside is rotten. Any ideas on what I am getting into and what to do to solve this little thing. All ideas are welcome.
marine_man
Do a search in this forum for Transom... you'll find several posts that detail what others have done to resolve this problem. You could check with Bakken's Boat Shop as well - several FM'ers have used him before for similar work and been very happy with the results.marine_man
delmuts
Marine Man is right! Do the search. Steve and others have it laid out almost step by step. We replaced the transom on a alumacraft last year. Not hard if you have the place to do it, but does take time, and is a dirty job getting the old/rotten wood out .
