Finally got the bike down off the hooks today. Only rode about 10 miles but was good to get the dust off. Could have done without the howling winds though.

Was on the Gateway trail near Oakdale/North St. Paul. Still several patches of ice/snow/slush on the trail. Probably be a while before I head out that way again, maybe the rains forcast the next few days will take care of it.

I'm hoping to make the first trek out this week, maybe tomorrow night but I know there is talk of rain. Otherwise I have plans to head out with a friend Friday night out in Woodbury or around there, where is that trail off of? Maybe her and I will check it out this week.

Gateway trail runs north and east from the intersection of hwys 36 and 694. Easiest way to find it is right across 36 from the Fleet Farm. The trail crosses Hadley Ave just south of 36. The Gateway trail runs from almost the State Capitol to well north of Stillwater.
