I once spoke to a wise man at the NW sports show and I came to the conclusion that it's what works best for YOU! It's a combination of what you feel the most comfortable using. I personally use a lot of Mono/Copoly as of right now I just feel more comfortable throwing it and feel as though I have more confidence in controling the spool and bait. I also fish very little HEAVY vegetation so I only have braid spooled on one rod

Its not only what works best for you, but what you have confidence in. If you don't have confidence in the line you are using you will blame it for losing a fish that was really your fault and other things like that. So with that being said here is what I fish.

Braid- spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, jigs, heavy texas rigged plastics, slug/senko.

Mono- crankbaits, topwater, light texas rig, jigworm.

I have yet to use any floro, and although I probably should in some instances, I like what I use now so why change.
