I've heard good things about the dryer sheets, so one year when I went to put our 5th wheel camper away I spread the freshly opened Bounce dryer sheets all over the thing, inside and around the perimeter. The building was known to get a few mice in it from time to time. My buddy parked his 5th wheel right next to mine. He is the one who recommended the dryer sheets.

Come spring, I had mice. He did not. I sincerely believe it all comes down to what mice can penetrate. Evidently my camper had access holes and his didn't. Both of our campers were entirely cleaned out of food and prepped for storage, something my wife is anal about.

I actually found mouse tirds on one of the dryer sheets.

Go ahead and use them, but don't count on them. I know I won't use them again.

I just put mine up on top of my doghouses that are built in inside the garage, put a couple mousetraps baited with peanut butter around it, been working for 10 years. Mice normally aren't a problem in the summer, its fall, when it gets cold and rainy that they want to find better dryer habitat.

The brand of dryer sheets do matter. I have heard that only bounce brand sheets work. We use them in the cabs of our combines, tractors, and trucks when storing them inside during the winter. Another product found at Fleet Farm called "cab fresh" also works. Biggest thing as stated is to clean them out thoroughly before putting away. Storing them up high is a good idea also. That Racor lift is slick but can't find it for under $150.

I use a big game hoist and then once to the rafters strap it up with rachet straps. 30 bucks total! Can't beat that

Me too. And I'm fortunate enough to have high rafters so hanging down a bit doesn't matter
