Break-in a new nils auger

Whats the best way to break in a new auger using amsoil saber.

RUN A TANK AT 75 TO 1 WITH OUT THE AUGER EVEN ATTACHED. VARY THROTTLE AND CHOKE WHILE BREAKING IN. HAVE FUN!

RUN IT LIKE YOUR GOING TO USE IT. ADD A BIT MORE OIL ON FIRST TANK AND DONT WORRY ABOUT IT AFTER THAT !!

It was suggested to me by Nils to use a premium 2 cycle oil for first tank break in before using a synthetic.

From Nils: First tank 50:1 then 75:1 or 100:1 mix Synthetic oil

89 or above octane

Run with out the auger shaft on at first. Prime the ball twice, full choke, then half choke then no choke. Open up full throttle cycling the choke back and forth. Lubricates the diaprham

If you don't lean it out too much any synthetic is fine for break in Opti-2 is another quality synthetic that can be used in ice augers.

I have broke my last 2 Nils in at 70:1 and after the 1st gallon went 100:1. Only because the pillow packets of Saber are 100:1 when mixed with a gallon.
