Not to start a big discussion or anything like that, but I just want to urge everyone to practice selective harvest, especially with panfish. I would like to see all the big gill/crappie lakes continue producing those pigs, and the only way to do that is by selectively harvesting, keep some 8"ers and maybe a couple 9"ers, but let the larger ones go. blackdog1101 Posted March 24, 2009 Share Posted March 24, 2009 I had the good fortune to catch several large crappies this Saturday on Big Sandy. These two fish were the largest.
