95 ford clutch problem

Have a 95 F-150 4x4, manual transmission. the problem is clutch is working fine, except when I take out of gear and release cluch I hear a grinding noise. Could it be throw out bearing?

The throw out bearing is in use when the clutch is depressed. It should not be turning when the clutch is released. More likely the noise you hear is the input shaft bearing in the transmission.

Are you hearing this grinding as you shift gears (Clutch pressed down and coming out of first and then into second, or any other gear shift)? Or is it after the gear change and as you are releasing the clutch pedal?

Sounds to me like its idling or coasting with the clutch pedal out and the transmission in neutral.

Yup thats it airjer when it is "idling" out of gear and the clutch is out; pedal not depressed. Thanks Guys
