Did you make it down or did the weather put you off?

We tried. Made it as far as Renville and said that's as far as we're going. Hit one spot and as we got about 100yds from the truck the wind really picked up and temp dropped 10deg. Finished walking the one area, saw lots of birds, no shots and said it's not worth it. A long treacherous drive for nothing. It got so bad that you could not even see looking into the wind and our eyes were freezing shut from ice on our lashes. Don't know if we will get out one more time, but unlikely. I think it's time to hit the hard water more.
