hydro
Here is my favorite sunfish fly, a pattern called "Timberwolf". It's tied on a #10 curved nymph hook and has a lead wire weighted body. I photographed it through my lighted magnifier and the color washed out a bit but it's flo green and black.
Nick Kuhn
I love poppers. I just by the yellow store-bought ones, then when all the hair falls out, I replace it with a couple feathers. Lot of actions on those topwater, and the longer feathers get a lot more crappies than the hair does, and the smaller fish leave it alone more. hydro
I agree on that one! Poppers are a blast for bluegills! I love to hear the "Plop" as they suck them off the surface.
