Make that two of us that caught 29" fish this year on the ice while fishing alone. At least you got a picture of it, I didn't even get that. Congrats and I'm sure your 30" is coming, especially because you practice catch and release. Nice job!

Nice fish Kylersk! I didn't know what the length of the handle of that skimmer was, but I do know that those round catch hole covers have a 16" outer ring. That and I would have no reason to doubt you anyways. I am hoping for a few rude awakenings myself this weekend wink

count the hash marks on the ice scoop every two equals an inch that fish is atleast 28".

Nice catch, how long did it take you to fall back to sleep?

I mixed up a drink and probably was up another 45 minutes after it. wink

I caught both of my biggest walleyes without a real camera, only cell phone.

Kylersk, Thanks. This is a good forum I like seeing pics of nice fish, and reading stories about fishing. Yes it is by Gilbert been here about three years. used to live up by cook. I have a 29.5 and a 31 inch eye on my wall so when I say yours was a nice fish it is. heck of a way to get woke up. later.
