ice_it_06
Looking to buy a used LP heater and have a question on venting. The existing vent location on my house wall sits about 8" (below) the vent outlet on the heater I want to buy. Will this "drop" to the connection point in the wall create any operation or safety issues ?It's a barrel heater so the pipe will come from the top of the heater, elbow down to wall area, and elbow again in to alignment with wall hole. eyebjim
I would modify the wall hole. I think you may have problems if you make it drop from the heater.
ice_it_06
Was afraid of that. Don't think I want to cut up my walls and leave holes to accommodate this used heater. The old Deerborn that was in it lined up with the height of the wall hole but had a snake (S) elbow to connect point.
