darwin Posted December 11, 2008 Share Posted December 11, 2008 Can and body give any ideas why my 9 year old lab has just become a hunting machine.He is retrievig ducks this year and finding pheasant like a machine this year.All my hunting friends just said I have a slow dog.But it fun now hunting behind a real dog after all these years.Anybody have any ideas why this dog has just changed? Seabass77 Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 They say it takes some dogs between 100 - 200 birds shot over a dog before it "gets it"I'm sure its not true for all dogs and I am not judging your hunting ability but I know my brothers chessie just "got it" this year and he is 4.
