Guest
Fished Lake Alice by Tomahawk this morning. Some action on the gills, I measured 7 inches of ice where I was.Oh yeah, some guy drove his truck out there today. What do you think: brave, crazy or just to lazy to walk?
Guest
I know that feeling. Last year a guy drove his truck out on 6 inches of ice about 35 yards away from me. The way the ice was cracking and the water was moving in my hole I was sure I'd fall in.
Steve Foss
I've had similar experiences. I hate it when they do that. It always makes me think my wife's about to become a widow. I had full-sized pickups driving by me on a NW Wisconsin lake last winter when there was a foot of snow over 8 inches of ice. Must've been good ice, because no one went through, but when one guy in a 3/4 ton wanted to pull up next to me to see how the fishing was, I waved him away, and we shouted to talk to each other from 100 feet.
