St. Croiz Legend rod repair.

I bought a new St. Croix Legend ice rod at the Ice Show last year and somehow over summer storage the tip broke off and disappeared along with the spring bobber. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know how I could get the tip with the tip guide and spring bobber replaced? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Yes they break often....TOOOOO Often!

From my experience St. Croix isn't going do anything for you.

If it wasn't a bit unethical I'd tell you to buy another one and return said broken St Croix.

These things really hate the offseason. Every year the same thing happens to someone.

I suggest they be stored in the original tubes they came with. I store them 2 per tube and only put a reel on them when I need a spring bobber. I haven't had one break yet and I'm a professional rod breaker at heart.
