Tipup maintanence

Can any one tell me how to take apart beaver dam and ht tipups for cleanup or can you sagest a webb sit thank you

take the nut off the bottom of the spool, and unscrew the T on the top and slide the guts out and clean them up and relube with some blu-lube. BUT I have only had to do this once or twice to my tip ups. and I've had them for quite some time now.

There's no nut on the Artic, the spool is soldered on (at least on the older ones, mine included, they are). Where in Wisconsin do you live Mike? I know some baitshops will repack them for you or you can send them in to get it done.

I guess you're a ways from Beaver Dam then. I know the bait shop in Hayward repacks them and I'm guessing some others do too.

Beaver Dams are not the greatest for "Do-It yourself" work. As noted above, suggest to take to a Bait shop that does it, or simply ship them to Beaver Dam to have it done. It's realively inexpensive, I have my dozen done every 2 years.
