Zercom Color point

I got a Zercom color point from a friend and as it warms up the screen will turn all orange. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

I think you're in trouble. This unit is known for being a problem.

Don't forget to look at the LX3. It's a great unit with more power and an adjustable zoom. The unit has a two year warranty and it's a Minnesota made product.

I had and still have my Zercom Colorpoint. I've had it for a number of years now. About 2 years ago, either the screen went completely blank or it did what you are describing. I called up Zercom and had them repair it but it still cost me a little money.

I'm getting rid of it this year mainly because of the interference it picks up from other locators. I can't even use it within 10' of a vex or it goes nuts. It doens't have an IR feature so you are pretty much stick putting up with the interference.
