I'm about ready to go start shopping for a battery for my new fish house. I want as long of battery life as possible. What is it that I'm looking for when I go buy? Cranking amps? price? Brand? Anyone got any insight? Thanks!

best of my knowledge you should look for reserve minutes,same as buying for a trolling motor..I been using interstate batteries and they work great and not bad price

I'm an Interstate guy. Always had good luck with em. Went with 2 of their biggest in my new shack wired in parrallel(? still 12 v). Very impressed with the performance of this system. Sure seems like I get more than twice the time.
