Vexilar repair question

So I pulled my Vexi out the other night and the knob that turns it on just spins and spins and can be pulled right off the post. I did notice that there is a small hole on the side of the knob where a small allan wrench would go in.....is that all I need to do? Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

The same thing happened with my Marcum, I just had to tighten the allen bolt, but it took me a while to find one that small.

After you do that, I think you'll be good to go. Good luck.

Yup, just re-align the know and tighten the small allen screw. In a pinch, one of the ends of a small hemostat has fit mine to tighten while on the ice.

Be careful not to strip the allen screw. Mine was loose as well, and I stripped it right out of the plastic holding.

If the knob is broken or allen screw stripped/gone, you can order a new knob from Vexilar. Give them a call or stop in. I did, and they were great as usual.
