just wandering what some of you use for fishing that might be a little out of the ordinary.

last winter, i used two fatheads on one hook, both hooked through the dorsal fins and both very lively. seemed to attract walleyes on ordinary slow days

I sometimes do that (use two minnows) on my jig (Swedish Pimple, etc) under a deadstick rod. I usually hook them through the tail end, though...

When i hook two minnows i usually do one through the back and then one through the lips, i think it provides a bigger profile and the fish can find it easier in dark or staind water.
