MUSKY18
Had an awesome time with Jonesi yesterday. Fished until about 11 last night before finally calling it a day. Needless to say, your big girl is still swimming around Mille Lacs, so you can have her now, I am done with that lake for the season!!!

JRedig
I've seen that fish, the 56. Steve showed me when I was out with him and the following day I saw her 5-6 times lounging with 4-5 other muskies on a tiny weedpatch. Stupid big. Bret... Oct 14th, not 16th... Thanks for the tips... Its just the mystique of Mille Lacs... it'll all turn on for no reason at all sooner or later... On a side note... Hit French earlier today with no luck... it was a dead sea... unusual for me on French at this time of the year... hit all those spots that brought me luck last year but ZIP... water was SOOOO green looked like we could walk on it... but at least I got some practice in preparing for the Oct 14th Marathon... Sad thing is that I had a 7000iC3 replaced couple weeks ago... and that replacement crapped out on me tonite... *sigh*

Dano_the_jigasaurus
Daiwa saltist is a 6.4:1 and is coming out with a levelwind, that might be worth waiting for. the 700TE is awesome same price as the trinidad, but its got a levelwind, having both Reb, I love my levelwinds its quite nice, but once you get used to not having it its ok. good luck dan
Rebel9921
the jury is still out on Diawa... few has said that it doesnt cast too well... so I dont know... as far as choices go... Im thinking about Trinidad/Torium 14, Daiwa Saltist (both levelwind and convential), Okuma Red Isis, and Shimano Calcutta 400/700TE... I need to see Daiwa and Okuma in person before I'll decide...Thanks!!!

JRedig
Quote: Are complete sentences and the entire word that hard to type? Life in text is kind of a PITA to read... that's actually pretty good. i have two brothers that aren't quite stone deaf, 1 is 80% both and the other is 70/90% left to right, and they don't even do as well. and matty if i remember is stone deaf. just fine matty, i understood it just fine. I wasn't aware of that, sorry ole matty. How does that effect typing? I'm not being sarcastic, i'd seriously like to know how being deaf impedes the ability to read/write coherently. I would think that if you were deaf or hard of hearing you'd be better at it. Maybe i'm wrong.
Peachy
"Deaf people can do anything, except hear." I'm deaf myself. we can read and write just fine. I do type that way as well when I'm using my pager to communicate with others. There's nothing wrong with that....There's alot of hearing people out there who do type that way like we do....It has nothing to do with our deafness. Just because we can't hear doesnt mean we can't read or write coherently. Everyone INCLUDING hearing people do have flaws when it comes to reading or writing. NO ONE IS PERFECT at typing or reading...

I'm not being sarcastic, i'd seriously like to know how being deaf impedes the ability to read/write coherently. as peachy stated deaf people can do anything.although my bros.could have tried harder, lol. one thing that hurt their ability, according to their specialist when they were younger, is sign language. when speaking sign ''the bear went into the woods and scratched on a tree'' is broken down to something like this...''bear went to woods scratched tree''.then after learning that sentence structure using sign they had a harder time writing out ''correct'' sentence structure. no not every deaf person falls into that. but i know a few who have. remember i'm talking strictly about who i know or have contact with. i'm certainly not an expert on the deaf community and any strides made over the years may have addressed this. ole matty
I speak american sign languages as my first languages n english come in second... I don't really care if I can't spell or write a complete sentence pretty well.... as long it have nothing to do with fishing then its all good........
