cjac
Mille has been slow, only 3 fish caught in the MMTT event a couple weeks ago. Given the number of boats at 50, 2 anglers per boat, 2 days, that equates to close to 2000 hours of fishing with 3 fish caught. Not very good odds. Even if anyone is moving and catching any, they'll likely be pretty tight lipped with any info. If I was heading there, I'd be looking at the wind, meaning I'd look for a balance between what's "fishable" first off and secondly how the wind may be moving baitfish. I'd go to the SE end, looking for green cabbage and rocks, and transition points in between. I'd be somewhat inclined to skip Mille altogether and hit Sham or Alex instead, or save gas & stay Metro if that's where you're heading up from. 10,000 Casts
It's only a matter of time before Mille Lacs is on fire and man would I like to be there when it does. It will probably be the dead sea but you never know!
