Right on Wild!

Geno, I ain't saying...I'm just sayin! Those were the stats, ma'am, just the stats, but that was a while ago during the season before Jose took a dump on us! Pale Hose will go with a 4 man rotation thru the regular season and won't need a 5th the rest of the way, if they do, Richard or Broadway have proven to be worthy 5th men. You better be worried about your Cubbies getting shut down by the Koufax/Drysdale pitchers on the dreaded Cinncinnatti Reds team, shut down those Cubbies like a tornado siren last night!!! And the Brew Crew and Cards win....could get interesting. I think I saw Steve Bartman outside the park last night looking for a spare ticket. LOL

And you know what I am going to say in response to that already, right Geno. First I am going to say that half of the quiche eaters at the game probably don't even know the score of the game, they are just texting people on their cell phones and making plans to hit the Cubby Bear or whatever other bar is up there in "boys town" after the game. I was at the game earlier this week and the Cell was pretty full 39,000 plus. Then I will tell you that back in the day the Ford Escort was the highest selling car in the US at one point and will ask you if it was the best car at that time since it was the most popular selling car. And then you will come back with something else that I will already have an answer for, haven't we seen this movie already?

But it's fun!

So what you are saying is all those people dressed in Cubbie blue in Atlanta and Florida and Milwaukee and all the other MLge parks are wrong too?

Fess up now Windy.....you are just jealous of Cubbie favoritism, right?

End of Movie. Be kind...do not rewind.

...so, the umps mark it down on that little card in their shirt pocket and hand it over to one of the dot com propeller heads in the press box after every game? I think not... Sure, the umps are in charge of the calls, but someone else is keeping track of all of these great stats that make MLB so unique..

BTW: Is that 'chase' stat only for swings and misses and foul balls? Seems to me a guy could have a pretty high 'chase' stat, but if they all went for base hits, that's no good...
