Red wigglers

i had a brainiac idea, i was at petsmart getting goldfish for my piranhas, and i passed by the cooler and saw waxworms so got some of those, then i saw some things call "red wiggler" they look like very small versions of night crawlers but they are red and very active, the thing is when i put it on a octopus hook the b@stards smell wierd, i didnt get anything on them but we didnt catch anything on minnows either so i dont know if they work or not. when i brought my line up the thing was still moving like crazy after hour in the water.
