Me too Dietz...love watching the games.

Good luck to everyone representing the USA...especially Doug Schwab from Osage, IA in wrestling. There is not a more determined individual competing. I am certain of that! smile

I thought it was very good maybe not a $100,000,000 dollars good which is what they spent on the opening ceremony but VERY Good none the less.

Go USA!

I had heard the bill was $300 million.

Think of all the starving people that could be fed for $300 million!

Don't get me wrong...the opening ceremony was pretty cool....but dang.

I also heard China has spent like 40 billion on the entire games can that be right?

Don't forget the games will be airing on NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, USA, Oxygen and for Direct TV customers channels 750-753

For Dish customers the olympic coverage is on NBC, MSNBC, CNBC-HD, USA-HD, Oxygen, and Universal-HD.

There are also two special channels that are each dedicated to basketball and soccer (ch 365 & 367). They are in high definition too.

Two more special channels feature "Team USA" and athlete bios (ch 474 & 473).

Dish's interactive feature allows you to watch all six primary channels of Olympic coverage at once if you choose to do so.

I've already got olympic fatigue.

Did anyone else see the Opening Ceremony when they were lifting that guy up with the cables attached to him? When they got him all the way to the top...did anyone else think he was about to fall?????

WOW. What a finish in the 4x100 Mens swimming. It looked like they were beat and they came back in the last 25 meters to beat the Frenchies. Obliterated the world record in the process.

your right dan,

talk about putting words back into the frech mouth. That was a great race, and im glad that they finished strong and beat up on the french.

Also nice to see Katie Hoof get the silver in the 400. She got tired at the end, thought she was going to take it home for the USA.

We have to have the highest medals so far if not going to be on top this year.

What sweet revenge. The frogs were talking smack about "smashing" the USA but like Toby Keith says, "We'll put a boot in your a$$ it's the American way". I think the frogs have a few Tony Lama's firmly wedged between their cheeks!

GO USA!

its was great to see them beat them last night.

I hope that phelps can get the record. You could tell last night that he was just hanging back and did just enough to get into the finals in the 200

I hate to admit it but last night was the first chance I had to sit down and watch the Olympics. I actually forgot they were on. Wow what awesome races. I had a hard time turning off the tube and going to bed. I'm sure I'll be checking in everynight from now on..

it doesnt get any better than to beat the frenchies after they talk smack. why on earth would anyone talk smack to ANY race Phelps is involved in? Just goes to show you that although the 4 frenchmen are good swimmers, they dont have much between the ears. prolly makes them more bouyant.

And even after getting their hats handed to them they still had that arrogant frog attitude! One of their guys in the race was quoted as saying that the .08 second finish was "just a fingertip" so it was not that big of a deal....ENJOY YOUR SILVER MEDAL, Froggie! we will do the same with our GOLD! I guess that was the "Gold Finger" eh?

GO USA!

    • It seems to be working😉
    • I've heard good things about the Browning's.
    • Just curious- what about your old now is making you switch?   I've shot both and have no real concerns with either. Elite makes a nice bow and has several good options over the past few years. But... regardless of brand there are lots of good options out there. Shoot what feels good to you and hits where you're aiming. Totally generic,  but good advice IMO.
    • I was surprised by that too Wanderer. I bought 2 of them about a month ago and am giving them a whirl. I've got 3 on bear baits right now. I'll have a feel for them in a couple weeks.
    • I did not last year and I am not sure about this year.  I would sure like to.  New job and some new help at the hunt didnt allow me time to volunteer last year.  Hope this year is different.
    • The Moultrie M50 was rated 81/100 on Trailcam pro.  I was surprised to see the majority of the highest rated cameras were Browning.  I like the Browning brand for firearms but have considered many of their other products to be mid-level offerings.
    • I'm not sure Hoyt4 I've never messed with the video part. I'll take a look when I get home.
    • MJ 1657 I just bought an M50. Mills had them on sale for $129.99. The infared version was $139.99. Only been using it for about a week and so far I like it. That buck in the night time pictures is quite a ways out from the camera.    I've had a Moultrie 880 for years and it's been a solid camera.    MJ Did this Moultrie have picture video at the same time like the old 880? I have not found another camera to do that but the Moultrie and it's great. I'm running out of this version only have two left now.
