Trout Fishing -Marcell / Soumi Hills area

I am planning a first time trout trip opening weekend to one of several lakes in the Soumi Hills area. One of these is Lucky Lake for Browns. Does anyone have any recommendations for browns through the ice? What about Lakers on Kramer? I know that Lucky is motor free, including augers. What about Kramer?

Kremer has browns and rainbow, try fising the north end across from were you park and walk on the lake, points and bays.

Thanks Snowfighter. Can you tell me what has been most successful for you in terms of bait and technique?

I fished 8 to 10 ft baited with red egg sack or corn kennels or wax worms, Keep moving if nothing biting , almost like the auger attracts them
