Gapen rods

Anybody use Gapen ice rods? I've seen demonstrations on their full length rods and like them. I am buying one, maybe two at the Sportsmans show this weekend. If anyone thinks they are no good, please let me know. I'd like to not waste too much money.

Ive heard nothing but good things about them. You may want to check out Rod Engel too. He made me a sweat ice rod. Thorne Bro's are good if you can afford them.

I have a couple of there full length rods and loke them so I bought two of there ice rods last year and the handles are junk. They use a screw toghether handle to hold the reel and it flexes all the way through the handle. I took one apart and ground down to the blank and put my own handle on, now i like it. The rod blank is good, but the handlw is a joke!
