Correction! I didn't memorize the whole lake, just every report for the last 4 weeks. Location, depths, bait, temp, time of day(down to the second), moon phase, where bait was purchased, lucky hat colors. Of course I spent a pay check on Angel Eye's and glo Devils. I probably jinxed myself when I made room in the trophy case(ok I didn't have a trophy case but I made on frome a cardboard box). LOL

Deadline for online registration is Thursday at 3 pm, only $10.

Then it's $15 for registration at Denny's Resort on Winnibigoshish.

Reports are that the perch and walleye fishing are going strong on Long Bar, pike are snapping close to Denny's. Big Gills are coming in off the points with rushes on them on Cutfoot and the crappies are a little deeper suspended close to those Bull bluegills.

MM, I feel your pain also. I still am unsure if I will be up or not - the Hubby doesn't want to go. I'm thinking about going up solo but I do not know how to carry the portable in car. I could brave it and trust the weatherman and fish outside! grin.gif. Keep Smiling.

Jim, I have a feeling that they're gonna put you to work. Maybe a fry cook, grill guy, or something like that. smile.gif Only because of my "odds", I am forced to take tommorrow off to head up to Winni. Hopefully I'll be able to find a spot that can produce a couple of fish so I can be "worthy" of such odds. My girlfriend left it up to me, leave at 4pm when she gets home and hit Red tonight and Winni in the morning. Or leave at midnight and hit Winni in the day time. Tough choices! I want to leave tonight, but this puter wont let me....And I need to start packing!!! grin.gif

Fry cook is about it!LOL

Hastings Gal, I doubt I will see the inside of a portable most the weekend! Plus there should be plenty of warm room in the big tents!
Don't let old man winter keep ya from taking the trophy home!!!

    • Have to agree great game looked real good definitely more aggressive time will tell.
    • Wisconsin's traditional nine-day gun deer hunting season opens this Saturday and with snow in many northern areas and more in the forecast for Friday into Saturday but with otherwise relatively mild hunting conditions it should make for a good opener.Hunters can find all the information they need by searching the DNR HSOforum for keyword "deer." Or new for this year, hunters with mobile devices can download the Hunt Wild Wisconsin mobile app, which provides mapping, shooting hours and easy access to regulations. Hunters can download the app from the DNR HSOforum at keywords "hunt app."Little Manitou Falls at Pattison State Park has begun to ice over. Skim and shelf ice is forming on lakes and some smaller lakes have frozen over.Photo credit: DNRThis is the earliest possible opening of the season and while it is winding down in some areas, rutting activity is still noticeable with bucks visiting their scrapes and rubs and still being seen chasing does. A reminder that hunters must register their deer by 5 p.m. the day after recovery and registration is now easier than ever online, by phone or in person at registration stations. Search the DNR HSOforum for "GameReg," for details. Hunters can get a deer tested for CWD at no cost and can find sampling locations by searching for keywords "CWD Sampling." .
    • It looks great! Throw a few nonslip rugs down.  It's Winter after all! 😋
    • I converted mine to 1 ton Reese 12v winch. Seems to work well with my light weight wheel house.
    • Looks great but cold and slippery, I'm a carpet guy.
    • absolutely 100% yes. Like with the augers though, use a good drill. My Ryobi barely does both sides once on a battery, my Fuel is 1000 times better. It's not recommended to go down with a drill, only up. You'll see all this on Nutz w e b s i t e.
    • I missed it too, the caps always just own us.
    • Who all uses this system? Do you raise and lower your house with a drill.   I was looking at picking up the 2 speed winchs for both axles and the hitch winch.   Are they worth the money??
    • Great showing by the team last night! It was exciting to see the effort level way up and the new guys seem to plug into their roles well. Much more excited for the rest of the season!
