Bubbles

Every year I see bubbles on my depth finder coming up from the bottom and also coming up into the holes. I assume that this is gas from the decaying vegetation. My question is how does this effect the fishing?

hubcat - I had all sorts of bubbles come up on me yesterday. fish didnt move a bit. Marking fish, then all of a sudden, this green mark makes a bee line to the surfact fish stayed right there except for when I pulled one of their buddies out

I was wondering the same thing yesterday too, but since I kept on catching fish, I have to assume that id doesn't affect them that much if at all.
