Rock polishing kit

Recommended Posts

I know this is not the spot for this but I thought I could get a little information. I am looking for an inexpensive rock polishing kit. You know the kind you used to polish agates as a young lad or lass. Any information as to where to go to get this type of thing would be greatly appreciated. I am a teacher and their is a student that has a rock collection and is interested in gems, etc... That is why I am looking for this. Thanks for any help.

Email Don Shelby (WCCO anchor) as he often mentions collecting agates from the North Shore.

I got my oldest daughter one for Christmas last year. She lives with her mom in an apartment so she tumbled rocks here. Too cold to have in the garage so it was in the basement. Most annoying, never ending noise I've had to put up with in my life. You've been warned.
