Dahitman44
I am SURE the Pale Sox would NOT want to send him to MN but I wonder if we should consider it. He is not a great batting average guy, but may solve 3B for the next five years or so.I think we all know that Lamb is ok but a band-aid not the future.THOUGHTS?????? Windy City Walleye Hunter
Hitman,We'll take Liriano and Gomez for Crede, deal?Crede is the second best third baseman on our team right now. Fields is the future here.Windy
Dahitman44
I know I have fields on my FB team I wish he was still up with the team. I think you will take Kubel and a decent pitching prospect for him. That is a win-win -- you get fields up and get something for an injury-prone guy. CrappiesNCats
????Kubel is WAY more valuable than Crede. cripes Crede is worth a middling double AA prospect at best. Kubel has had one injury and it was a few years ago. He was one of the top rated prospects until his injury and competed for a batting title while doing his minors time.all we need is a band aid right now. Romero or Valencia will be able to contribute as soon as lamb is gone.
Windy City Walleye Hunter
Crappie,How many Gold Gloves for Kubel?Hitman, I think we can talk, Kubel and a decent pitching prospect, Liriano! Huge injury concern, as much as Crede's back IMO.Windy
CrappiesNCats
kubel doesnt play 3rd. how many times did crede compete for a batting title on his journey, what was credes highest ranking as a prospect.it would take crede and a decent prospect to net kubel, not the other way around.you would be surprised how little value a player like crede has in trade. kubel is a huge part of the future. he projects as a .300 hitter with 20-25 bombs. crede is coming off a very significant injury, kubel has healed from his. kubel is also 4 years younger.crede also loses value as he is close to being pushed out. sox will accept little or nothing for him or just let him go soon to give the more talented youngster a shot.there is not a single gm in the league that would accept that trade if they were the ones getting rid of kubel. CrappiesNCats
Brian Duensing for Crede is more of a realistic move that would actually get talked about. but nobody trades within the division
maros91
Trades rarely happen inside the division. Why would we want Crede anyway?
Windy City Walleye Hunter
Hitman was the one asking, don't shoot me, I was only responding to the trade with a counter offer. So can we package up Liriano and Kubel for Crede? We might even throw in Juan Uribe! LOLWindy
CrappiesNCats
well if you are throwing in Juan "i'll kill You-ribe" then we'll talk. everyone needs someone a little sketchy

Dahitman44
Guys, guys, guy -- It was just a thought. I think Crede is about equal to Kubel. At one point they thought he would be a .300 hitter with 25 bombs -- not anymore. Remember they thought Gasser and willie Banks and LaTroy my Boy and Todd walker, Doug McStinkowick and ... Get my point? Crede would be a good fit, IMO. Except the factr that he is a Pale Sox guy. Man I don;t like them.
CrappiesNCats
the one day i go on my crede stinks run he goes and does this. i blame myself for the lossyeah, we can't hit.delmon young hasn't walked which means his avg IS his OBP....BARF!
Windy City Walleye Hunter
Crappie,You beat me to it! I was going to say you were right, Crede is washed up, can't hit much anymore especially off the premier pitchers in the league. Then I was going to put a few of these...... in there and ask you what you thought Neshack thought of the trade and then finish with a little LOL!And you went and spoiled my fun, drats you Crappie!Windy

Windy its because i have no life outside of the internet.. thats a nice offense for the most part, for fantasy purpose i want owens healthy so swisher drops in the order. the central is better than people think, most people wrote off everyone not named cleveland/detroit, but a case can be made for a challenge from the rest of the division. Windy City Walleye Hunter
Crappie,I still say this is the best division, top to bottom, in all of baseball. There are no weak sister's, unlike our National League counterparts where the first team to .500 wins the division.Windy
Dahitman44
Jarrod --Sorry I meant Kubel was projected as a .300 hitter with 25 hrs. I don't think they are thinking that anymore -- mostly because he never gets the time and is dinged up a lot. Also -- Crede hit like 35 hrs and 110 RBIs (something like that) just a year or two ago.
