My parents were just looking at trailers. they ended up with a 5x8 from Menards that is almost identical to the one from fleet farm for $200 less. the only major difference was the one from fleet had a 2" receiver whereas the one they bought and the ones theyu saw everywhere else only had the 1 7/8"

I bought one at Home Depot. I see the same brand at Gander and Northern and elsewhere. My only complaint is the cheap paint job. No primer and the paint almost falls off. Looks great new but wait a year. A little more money up front would have saved me a lot of work.

When I was trailer shopping, I found a great difference in weight ratings. I got a 2000 lb. axle and 13 inch tires that were rated for that weight. Several I looked at were that rating of axle but they had 12 in. tires that were only rated for a total of 1500 lbs. The larger tires just make more sense to me.
