boatfixer
I'm replacing 2 windows in my home. Does anyone have anything to say about either Therma-star by Pella(sold at Lowes) or American Craftsman by Anderson(sold at Home Depot). They are the same price, but more interested in the quality. Thanks in advance
DRH1175
They are both decent. I am more familiar with the American Craftsmen. get the 8500 series though. They sell 4 models make sure you by the best for the best Quaility. Same goes for Pella. Anderson Windows owns the American Craftsman now so really they are apples to apples. Pella Vs Anderson. JAR JAR
Boatfixer, stop into Latvala Lumber and ask them about Simonton replacement windows, i think you will very happy with them and they are reasonably priced. Don't get me wrong, the windows you listed are good windows but give the other a shot and I think you will be very happy.Jar Jar
