How to get a Perm. Ice shack License?

How does one Register a Perm. Ice house? Is there any links that could help me?

Go to any Electronic License Station (ELS), Gander, Holiday Gas Stations, Galyans, Wal-mart, or most bait shops have the ELS. Its the same way as you buy a fishing or hunting license.

It's just a shelter license. I think it's $12 or close to that.

That's not a perminent liscence, only good for one year. Cost $12.50
To get a perminent liscence, like what you have for boat trailers, you will have to contact your state congressman, and strongly suggest how all the sportsmen in the area would vote for him in Nov. if he were to bring a bill to the floor for this.

If you purchase Online, how do you get the license? In the mail?

There's no difference in license or fees between a "permanent" or "portable" shack license. It's $12.50 and works on any shelter, as long as you're not spearing. Then you need a different shelter permit.

Even if you own several shelters you only need to buy one permit, because you only need the permit posted on the shelter you're using at the time.
