troyfideldy
While out muskie fishing last fall in Bemidji. We spotted this bear "stalking" loons. We got a little closer for pictures then backed off and let the bear climb up on the island. The bear was no worse for wear just a little more wet then before. This is my first time trying to post a video.

troyfideldy
Thanks guys, it was a neat to see a bear out on the lake. Sandmannd, while editing your videos you can place the aduio on the story line. The just adjust the volume of the music to the video audio. Scott M
Cool video. That is something few will see, when you consider that many black bear are hibernating by mid-September depending on the available food crops (berries, nuts, etc.)That might be something a bear biologist would want to take a look at and give an opinion on, since it really is some strange behavior. Try getting ahold of the DNR wildlife office in Grand Rapids. Dave Garshelis is the bear expert out that way. Or Lynn Rogers at the North American Bear Center in Ely.Thanks for sharing!
