gas auger question

This year I purchaced a slightly used Strikemaster mag Xpress and have a bit of "wabble" above the collar bolt, it has a slight wobble between the engine and the auger shaft. I've punched a few hundred holes with no problems but is this small wobble normal?? .....Thanks BT

Doesn't happen with my lazer mag auger. Might want to call Strikemaster service.

Depending on where you live, I would take it to either Strikemaster in Big Lake or to D-rock in New Brighton. They both give great service.

Mine has done it for two years. No problems but not sure if it can be fixed. Keep us posted.

Keep the collar bolt tight and drill holes.

I also have a slight wabble. The bolts are tight. Still cuts good. Interesting enough I don't have the wabble with the extension on.....

I have a slight wobble as well. Doesn't seem to really affect the hole drilling. So it seems like a somewhat common occurrance.

If you do contact Strikemaster and find something out, let the rest of us know!!!

A small amount of wobble is common. The gear box shaft to collar is somewhat of a tight fit but a fit tight enough to not wobble would have to be a pressed fit. You'd never get the to two apart.

Mine has a slight wobble as well. A few times when the collar bolt has worked its way loose it gets worse.
