mr_jman
I was wondering if we are still suppose to follow the 2007 regulation book or if the switch to the 2008 handbook was supposed to be made after Feb. 29th? With the extended license date I didn't know which one to look at.Not sure if slot limits changed at all but I wanted to make sure before fishing on Lake of the Woods this weekend. Thanks
Shack
I would go with 2008, or better yet, go on line to MN dnr and review the on-line reg's book PDF. Good luck this weekend
LakeDocktor
The license extension has nothing to do with the regulations. The 2008 Regulation Book went into effect March 1st. All of the current regulations are in the 2008 book.
tunrevir
Yep, he, heeeee, heee, untill they decide to change something. Then look for the press release:(Tunrevir~I'd go with the 08 regs, just had to barb the DNR a bit for changing things in midstream:)
timjones
They have already made some changes. The online version at the DNR web site has the latest updates. Changes are marked with a green arrow that says UPDATE and then the updated text is in green.
mr_jman
Yep, I see them! Frustrating how things change after the book is printed. Really can cause some confusion if you get checked! Not everyone checks the updates online!
lureman
If your heading to LOW best check all the rules on packaging fish as there are plenty of provisions one must do properly if you plan on bringing home limit of walleyes and saugers. Hate to wreck a trip due to a packing violation if checked by DNR.
